SWEEEP goes green with renewable energy
Specialist WEEE Processing (SWEEEP) Ltd is proud to have secured 100% renewable energy to fully power their Thames Gateway WEEE recycling centre.
Patrick Watts managing director and owner of SWEEEP says “SWEEEP is a technology leader in WEEE recycling and we always strive to minimise our environmental impact while carrying out our business. Our MeWa QZ plant, that processes mixed WEEE at over 10 tonne per hour, is already an extremely energy efficient way to recycle waste electronics but we felt we had to lead by example on reducing our carbon footprint.”
SWEEEP are recycling 100 CRTís per hour using a CRT Heaven diamond blade screen splitter. The MeWa QZ bulk WEEE recycling plant is no installed and processing WEEE. SWEEEP have an NPower connection of 1.1MVA or approx 1.1 million watts all secured from 100% renewable energy.
